You can find our hotel in the town of Jaco Beach, which is Costa Rica´s closest readily accessible beach to the capitol, San Jose, and has the reputation of being the "fun and sun" spot on the Pacific coast.

Sunbathing, surfing, fishing, gambling, dancing, eating in fine restaurants, or just relaxing by the beach are some of the many activities of this Costa Rica destination.

Jaco Beach is considered the liveliest and most developed beach town on the Pacific coast, where you will find activities and destinations for all tastes and ages!

The number one attraction is the surf and surfers love the consistent beach break here and in neighboring Playa Hermosa.

Jaco Beach is a popular jump-off point for surfers traveling to Costa Rica, being that it is only a two hour (approx) drive from San Jose. You can get off the plane and be surfing on in the same day!

Jaco is very close to Hermosa and Playa Escondida, two breaks that consistently have excellent surf.

In Jaco Beach you can go on a horseback riding tour, play volleyball, go swimming, surfing, parasailing and more. Several top surfing tournaments are held here each year.

You can rent scooters, quads, surf gear and practically anything related to having fun in the sun in one of countless little shops on the main drag or one of the mini-malls. Golf is available too.

Any kind of dining you can imagine is on the menu at the myriad of restaurants, from Italian to seafood, to Tex Mex and hot dogs.

Attracting a younger crowd than most parts of the country, this area is also popular with Costa Rican families from the city and countryside.

There are souvenir shops, local clothing and artisan shops, ice-cream stands, close to 100 restaurants and bars, four casinos and several discotheques where you can dance until the wee hours of the night.

For families, there is even a miniature-golf course, petting zoo, newly developed playground or perhaps a relaxing look at the sunset while on a horseback riding tour.
